ONYX Software offers the ability to measure ambient light using the measure tool in Manager and an option for Backlight light source measurement as part of the Build Options.
For Backlight light source measurement:
- In the Build Options dialog, expand the Other Options section, and select Custom from the Viewing Light Source list.
- The Custom Light Source dialog will open, which allows you to measure a light source with a color device.
- This measurement can also be saved for use with other profiles.
- The Load button allows the saved measurements to be used, without requiring taking a new measurement.
- Once the measurement is taken or loaded, clicking OK closed out the dialog box, and the profile can then be built as normal.
